Abstract The article outlines changing US government strategies in response to growing marketization of international aid and development. As private sector vendors, the active, purposive role for‐profit firms distribution is difficult appreciate from only an exploration funding awards. literature identifies multiple influences on vendor relationships between NGOs including new policies donor priorities as well arrival stakeholders.
